The Tourism Consortium of El Vallès Occidental is a public association of a voluntary nature, registered as a legal person empowered to carry out its objectives as set forth in its bylaws.

OBJECTIVES

The essential objective of the Tourism Consortium of El Vallès Occidental is the betterment, promotion and growth of tourism in general across the territory.
The following activities can be carried out in order to realize this objective:

• Promote activities designed to increase tourist interest.
• Manage, promote and carry out any activities that might lead to growth in the quality and quantity of tourist attractions in El Vallès Occidental.
• Promote the active presence of El Vallès Occidental as a destination to the tourism markets, ensuring the coordination of the various sectors related to tourism.
• Promote, make possible and assist in the adaptation of infrastructure and services related to tourism, giving support to initiatives from the private sector.
• Aid and promote conventions, gatherings and activities of the like both inside and outside the territory.
• Stimulate the tourism sector in the areas of lodging, dining, complimentary activities and services, the territory's resources and attractions and the highest quality of each with appeal to tourists.
• Study, analyze and diagnose problems related to tourism in the region and adopt or propose the best measures for resolving them.
• Develop and distribute necessary materials and publicity for informing the public about the resources of the consortium’s member groups and institutions and encourage growth in the number of visitors.
• Work together with other public and private associations to promote tourism and further the region’s attractiveness to visitors.
• Promote and participate in, as the case may be, concerts and conventions with other organizations in order to promote tourism in the territory.
• Contribute to the defense of natural resources and the socio-cultural values of the territory, advancing toward a model of sustainable tourism.
• Study and analyze the situation of tourism in the region, offering gathered information to the sector.
• Coordinate, stimulate and help all those interested in promoting tourism.
• Manage equipment and facilities of touristic interest across the territory.
• Whatever else the consortium's member groups can carry out.
